Human society is surrounded by culture, and through it expresses its customs, traditions and cultural patterns. This legacy will pass on to the future generations through the social interactions. In real life it is not possible to create such a culture that is identified by everyone. This contradiction and disagreement is reflected by criticism of social conventions, and always has been associated with an art and ideological movements. Burlesque originated at the end of the 19th century as a satirical and parodic performances connected with the striptease. In the fifties of the 20th century, in the postwar period, against the background of culture appeared the first subcultures in connection with the collapse of consensus, aversion to warfare, political ideologies and newly brings a brand-new attitude to life and self-expression, the alternative way of life. Culture is a living phenomenon with an ability to revitalize and transform itself through the time. At first glance its parts might not be related, but rather may be interwoven. The possible ways of blending are demonstrated in this work just through the subcultures and the burlesque.
