Baseline Studies of Biological Environment in EIA Project: Strategies and Examples
Abstract
Baseline studies are the most commonly recognized element of Environmental Impact Assessment. The term usually refers to the collection of background information on the environmental setting for a proposed development project and it is normally one of the first activities undertaken In an EIA. Present paper deals with baseline studies for biological environment that are pre requisite for the preparation of EIA report.
