Maio de 68 e exílio

Abstract

From a personal testimony on the events of May 1968 during the exile in Paris, the paper proposes a systematic and distant reflection on the France and Portugal relationship from the perspective of Comparative Literature and Imagology. The analysis shows the strong presence in the Portuguese imaginary of a mythical image of France with all its contradictions and paradoxes.
