Internet in the mass media system of Vietnam

Abstract

The article discusses the origins and development of the Internet in Vietnam, the social peculiarities of Vietnamese Internet audience, the basic activities and habits of Vietnamese Internet users. The author also studies the system of Vietnamese electronic newspapers, their typology, information orientation and development trend and provides the analysis of major problems in the development of online media in Vietnam.
