This essay investigates the situation of secondary education in Colombia and its relation to higher education in terms of accessibility, and from there suggests that from an integrated pedagogy and curricular integration between secondary education and the first semester of technical or professional programs the potential to generate greater articulation between the two levels, final development of an individual who is immersed in the knowledge society and to the country's development increases, coverage is further expanded organically and improving quality high and tertiary, with a concomitant decrease in the dropout rates in secondary and higher secondary school education. In this sense, the proposal targets the trial, after evaluation of the context of education in Colombia.
