The idea of “soft” squeezing as a method of control of shrink and liquidation processes at hardening of uninterruptedly cast slugs

Abstract

There is carried out the analysis of the existing technologies of “soft squeezing” in terms of operating machines of continuously casting of slugs. There are intended the ways of reconstruction of MNLZ-3, functioning in conditions of the Belarussian metallurgical works, with the purpose of realization of the dynamic soft squeezing method.
