Abstract

I have here translated in Italian the text Une femme m'a dit ceci... by Victor Hugo and I later set out the problems related to translation on which I focused: what I had to give up of the text and what I could keep. I also focused on the concept of the universality of the text and of the particularity and subjectivity of translation, that is, on this mobile relationship.
