ANALYSIS IN ATTACK OF 6M. LINE PLAYERS FROM MALE HANDBALL TEAM STEAUA BUCHAREST IN ROMANIAN NATIONAL LEAGUE

Abstract

The research had as object of study the offence evolution of players which activate on left wing, right wing and pivot positions at male handball team Steaua Bucharest of Romania in the National League of Romania in competitive seasons 2011-2012 and 2013-2014. In conducting this research regarding the compared analysis of offence parameters obtained by the players understudy from team Steaua Bucharest we used the following research methods: literature review, observation method using an observation sheet, video analysis method realized by watching the matches of the team in competitive seasons 2011-2012 and 2013-2014, statistical data collected was necessary to analyze the game parameters in attack, analysis of the results obtained by the nine players. The five attack parameters were applied for players activating on wings and pivot positions components of the team submitted to the research. In the competitive season 2011-2012 the average of 6m line players from team Steaua Bucharest are lower than the values obtained in competitive season 2013 - 2014, these values increased significantly, players on the left wing position registered an initial average of 3.576 and a final average of 6.727. Players on the right wing position also registered a significant increase in their average from a value of 3.84 to one of 5.727.
