Recently, with the continuous development and improvement of UAV technology, the UAV not only plays an important role in the military field but is widely used in the civil field as well. However, with the continuous reduction of the difficulties in the use of the UAV, it brings tremendous convenience to people’s life and production. At the same time, the abuse of UAV also pose a huge safety hazard to the country, society and citizens. Therefore, the demand for countermeasure and protection against low-altitude drones is very strong in the military and civilian areas. The application of UAV in different fields is focused on, the safety problems caused by UAVs flying at low altitude are introduced, and the types and sources of threats are discussed. On this basis, the domestic and foreign anti-UAV technology in-depth analysis of the status quo is focused on, the advantages and disadvantages of the existing anti-UAV technology and related systems are summarized. In addition, the future development trend of key technologies of detection and protection in low-altitude anti-UAV is analyzed and discussed combined with the intelligence, integration and autonomous problems in research and development of low-altitude UAV systems.
