A method of generating lateral chromatic aberration correction factor (CACF) during lens development is presented. This CACF will be able to feedback to lens designer whether the design will work when tilt Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) compensation is needed in real application. CACF will be used to correct any chromatic aberration caused by the OIS tilt during image capture. No post-processing or minimum effort is required to correct any significant chromatic aberration. The output image from the OIS tilt will not show color fringes artifact. It also simulates and predict the allowable tilt angle during design stage, thus reduce the amount of cost and resources to build prototype to characterize the camera
