Objective To respectively analyze the application of thrombogram (TEG) in our hospital and explore the reference interval for our laboratory. Methods Healthy adults who underwent physical examination in our hospital from November 2021 to October 2022 were selected, and their TEG indicators (R, K, Angle, MA, CI, G) were recorded and statistically analyzed to compare the difference in clinical application of our hospital between laboratory reference interval and the manufacturer interval. Results All main parameters of TEG correspond to normal distribution, with reference interval as R(3.77-7.97)min, K(1.02-2.70)min, Angle(54.37-73.35)°, MA(51.69-70.59)mm, CI(-2.73-+ 2.75), G(4.66-11.44) KPa. The TEG in our hospital exceeded the reference interval rate of the manufacturer and our laboratory: significant differences in R, K, Angle, CI and G were observed (P0.05). Meanwhile significant difference was noticed by gender (P<0.05). Conclusion There is significant difference between the reference interval of our laboratory and the manufacturer, and reference interval in our laboratory is more suitable for local patients. It is recommended that each laboratory establish reference interval scientifically to better guide clinical diagnosis and treatment.
