Abstract

The article discusses the emergence of postcolonial studies, situating the theoretical debates of the field of study of International Relations. It was from the second half of the twentieth century, with the processes of decolonization and globalization, that a series of analyzes and studies related to this new world scenario began to take shape and draw a new line of theory, the Post-Colonialism.
