The transport of ammunition and weapons dealership renewal in 1793 and the role of a navarrese family
Abstract
The constant military tension in the eighteenth century involved a complex organization of supplies with the intervention of the asentistas who served the army. This article speaks of the continuity of a family in some of these services, particularly in the transportation of weapons and ammunition from Navarrese factories. Despite increasing competition, the family of Mendinueta, Michelena and Leguía maintained the service to the crown until the end of the century.
