Intense competition, the rapid developments in information and technology have thought to businesses that the obtained data are being insufficient in time. The change has been experienced in all fields and to a certain extent, has taken into each of them. Public sector is among those fields and it has started the required action. The willingness to adapt rapidly changing conditions for public enterprises which have to compete all along is evitable. Managing this with ease and speed depends on the training. In service trainings which are mostly used by the private sector are important for the public sector as well. In service training is a systematized education for the employees working or hired for a particular work in return for a certain salary to help them to develop their skills, knowledge and attitudes in a specific discipline or occupation. This allows employees to work more efficiently, increases their loyalty to the organization and raises their motivations towards their work. In this study the effect of in-service training on the motivation of the public employees has been investigated. For this reason, a manufacturing company has been chosen and the survey has been carried out in this company. The main objective of the study is to find out the effect of the systematized in-service trainings on the employees.
