The life histories are a way of producing knowledge and understanding about society and culture. They are used as a technique by many disciplines although since different theoretical and epistemological perspectives. In some disciplines they are a qualitative research technique.For applied disciplines, as the pedagogy, life histories are also a technique used for educational action. In this article converge both ends: we investigate on the discourses of professionals, through their life stories, and we incorporated their stories to the formation of social educators.
