An Introduction to the Study of the Soviet Esoteric Underground from the 1960’s to the 1980’s
Abstract
This article may be seen as an introduction to the problems surrounding the study of the Soviet esoteric underground of the sixties to the eighties of the twentieth century. Certain dissident groups in Moscow and Leningrad sharply differentiated themselves from others since the former were guided by esoteric teachings and principles derived from Traditionalism, the Fourth Way, Agni-Yoga, and similar ideologies
