MAPPING OF LANDSCAPE-MORPHOLOGIC STRUCTURE OF ANAPA SAND BAR USING HIGH RESOLUTION SATELLITE IMAGERY

Abstract

High resolution WorldView-2 images were used for compiling maps of landscape-morphologic structure for the Southern part of Anapa sand bar at the Black Sea coastal zone. At the base of field and cameral stereoscopic interpretation of images in scale 1:2000 maps of landscape-morphological structure in scale 1:5000 were compiled for 8 parts of sand bar between settlements Vityazevo and Anapa. The maps show different degree of sand bar landscapes degradation coused by anthropogenic ipact and variations of aeolian processes.
