Uso de softwares educacionais no ensino de operações matemáticas fundamentais: um estudo de caso no telecentro
Abstract
In this article, we describe the results of a research on the use of educational software, such as the Magic Square, the Arithmetic Games and the Tux of Math Command, as mediating strategies in the teaching-learning process of arithmetic. The data collection was done from the accomplishment of mathematical activities, with students of the 3rd year of Elementary School I, in the Telecentre of a public school in the city of Manaus-Amazonas. The objective of the study was to verify the potential contributions of technological resources and games in the students' motivation and interest in learning the four fundamental operations of arithmetic in a playful way and, thus, achieving full mathematical literacy. The results demonstrated the importance of the use of softwares as differentiated practices, because besides promoting the integration of the practice to the theory, it enabled the students to use strategies that facilitated their learning and the development of skills to reason logically in mathematical operations.
