This work reconstructs and analyzes some aspects of the Entre Ríos revolution led by Ricardo López Jordán in 1830. It does so from two different scales, one local and the other interprovincial. He questions and qualifies various historiographic images, considering that it is not an abrupt and unexpected revolution, that there is no absolute lack of cohesion to face the conflict in the coastal league, and that it is not a local movement either. He proposes that, in Tilly's terms, we are in the presence, in a broad sense, of a political revolution with a unitary matrix. The sources used are diverse, the Urquiza collection of the General Archive of the Nation, government material from the Historical Archive of Entre Ríos, and very valuable documents already published by specialists of the period.
