Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out the difference of understanding concepts and science prosess skill between students who were thaught by environment-based guided inquiry learning model with students who were thaught by guided inquiry. This research used a quasi-experimental research with posttest only control group design. The sample of this research were student of Class VA as the experiment class and class VB as the control class. The instrument used to measure the success of this research were multiple choice questions to measure the understanding concepts while for the science process skill used multiple choice questions and observation. The result showed that there was difference in environment-based guided inquiry toward understanding concepts and there were no difference in environment-based guided inquiry toward science process skills on ecosystem teaching-material. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis lingkungan dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimen semu dengan desain posttest only. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VA dan VB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen pengukuran yang digunakan yaitu soal tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan proses sains serta observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan inkuiri terbimbing berbasis ingkungan terhadap pemahaman konsep dan tidak terdapat perbedaan inkuiri terbimbing berbasis lingkungan terhadap keterampilan proses sains pada materi ekosistem.
