Abstract
The multiplicity of issue areas and methods used in International Relations (IR) can facilitate the trend to the a-critical repetition of concepts of pedagogical scope. This article aims particularly to treat the ‘Peace Settlement at Westphalia’, as a historical landmark of the International Relations studies, in terms of methodological and theoretical adequacy. From the features of the mentioned example, the article mentions some advises concerned to the practice of multidisciplinary research by young scholars.
