Innovative approaches in emerging practices in OMFS in veterinary patients
Abstract
Diseases of the oral cavity are one of the most common diseases in veterinary medicine, but clinical signs are usually absent or subtle. Veterinary patients with dental conditions often experience pain despite the absence of clinical signs. In addition, many oral diseases cause significant local and systemic health problems. Purpose: The purpose of this review is to provide an insight into the cutting edge of oral and maxillofacial surgery to give a more detailed picture of recent practices and problems in the clinical situations that you face every day. Methods and material: Selection of a series of articles with new data on a wide range of topics in biomaterials and regenerative research in periodontology, oral surgery, dentistry from basic sciences to clinical applications. Result: Several articles have focused on the molecular, cellular, and pharmaceutical aspects of the biomaterials used for advancement in oral and maxillofacial surgery over the past ten years have found. Conclusion: The result will be the provision of first-class medical services to patients with reduced morbidity and treatment. More progress has been made in the maxillofacial surgery field.
