К проблеме интерпретации сведений средневековых европейских источников о прародине венгров / The problem of interpretation of the information of medieval European sources on the ancestral home of the Hungary
Abstract
В современной историографии существует устойчивое мнение о последовательной миграции древних венгров с Южного Урала (Magna Hungaria — Великой Вегрии) в донские степи (Леведию) и Северное Причерноморье (Ателькузу). В данной статье рассматриваются сведения средневековых европейских авторов, касающиеся восточной прародины древних венгров-мадьяр. Проводится анализ этих данных с целью выяснить их соотношение с древнемадьярскими землями, упомянутыми Константином Багрянородным в трактате «Об управлении империей». Предпринята попытка выявления происхождения названий «Леведия» и «Ателькуза». Автор приходит к выводу о том, что обе группы источников подразумевают одну и ту же область расселения древних мадьяр — уральскую прародину. / There is steady opinion in the modern historiography about sequential migration of ancient Hungarians from Southern Urals (Magna Hungaria — Great Hungaria) to Don Steppes (Levedia) and Northern Black sea area (Atelkuza). This article is considered the medieval European authors’ information about the eastern ancestral home of the ancient Hungarians-Magyars. The article gives the analyze of that info in order to determine out their relationship with the ancient Magyar’s lands mentioned by Constantine Porphyrogennetos in his tractate “On the Governance of the Empire”. In this research, paper is attempted to explore origin of the names of “Levedia” and “Atelkuza”. The author makes the conclusion that both groups of the medieval European authors mean the one physical territory inhabited by the ancient Magyars — the Ural ancestral home.
