Abstract

Making Together. Ethnography of a Participative Workshop against Social Exclusion Abstract Starting from Richard Sennett’s book titled Together: Rituals, Pleasures and Politics of cooperation, we intend to analyze a collaborative experience that has been involving homeless adults, researchers and students, educators, artisans and artists for some years within a creative workshop in Turin. Sennett's theoretical reflections are put in communication with the results of ethnographic experience within the “Crafting Beauty” workshop, creating a circular relationship between theory and practice.
