In modern societies, the territory was the main guarantee of security for individuals. These societies designed their security measures depending on the size of the territory. In this context, the power was territorial and space boundaries of a society that could be adjusted to prevent the entrance of anything that threatened the lifestyle of a society. In this paper we analyze the changes that have occurred in this way of understanding the social structure. Today, the process of globalization has generated profound changes in social and symbolic structures of our societies, creating a debate that tries to find points of convergence between the different ways of interpreting the world, our societies and relationships that are established in new collective places.
