The paper considers methods for solving scientific and practical tasks of increasing the accuracy of detecting of metal products through vehicle fuzzy-logic. Factors affecting the accuracy of defects of metal products and proved the applicability of the apparatus of fuzzy sets to determine parameters such eddy current transducer that will minimize the possibility of error in determining the defect. Computer simulation, which confirmed the practical data received in real-eddy-current converters, which led to the conclusion about the possibility of using fuzzy-logic under development and design of eddy current transducers to create the necessary accuracy characteristics. In practical applications of the eddy current flaw detector, an important parameter is the signal-to-noise ratio. In addition to the amplitude of the useful signal from an eddy current transducer, this characteristic is due to industrial electromagnetic interference, the characteristics of the measurement schemes, the losses in the cable that connects the sensor and the device. Therefore, research and development of methods and means of increasing the signal-to-noise ratio in eddy current flaw detection is an urgent task.
