History and audiovisual narratives: on fact and on fiction

Abstract

The paper intends to relate two different fields: audiovisual discourses(on cinema and on television) and the historical discourse as a way ofarticulating social imaginaries. It aims, therefore, to make a comparative analysis of diverse indicial narratives in order to establish their repetitions and variations concerning the way of recalling and reconstructing memory sights through the representation of historical facts.
