Albrecht Durer: drawing of bracelet with chinese dragon (notes on jewelry prototype)

Abstract

The main idea of the paper is to give the presentation of «dragon-fish», Chinese traditional drawing motif. Most likely, the Durer’s figure is based with Mediterranean replica of the original jewelry on time of Marco Polo.
