The aim of this article is to provide some insights on the significance of the principle of solidarity, the beating heart of voluntary action, within the recent reform of the Third Sector in Italy. If and in what way it has been exploited for the purpose of a greater approach towards market policies. Having been thoroughly investigated, we will therefore not dwell on the multiple significance of the third sector nor will a detailed comment be made on the individual regulatory provisions and their meaning, which would require a much larger space. While briefly introducing some points addressed by the reform, the analysis of other topics will be omitted, addressed by the delegation law and by the Code, including the one concerning changes in legislation on the subject of civil service and the introduction of the "universal civil service". all with the clarification that it will be a merely introductory topic on the subject.
