FOOD SECURING OF THE POPULATION: CONCEPT, ESSENCE AND STRUCTURE

Abstract

The article analyses the Russian scientists’ definitions of the concept of «food securing of the population». The concept is specified, its essence is revealed. The basic conditions (requirements) for the food securing of the area’s population, such as physical and economic accessibility of food, are discussed.
