The material object in this research is the utterances in the story of Prophet Musa and Pharaoh in the Qur'an. The formal object is language politeness. The qualitative descriptive method is used because the data in this study are words and sentences, in this case, the verses in the Qur'an. The theory used in this study is the leech politeness scale. In theory, Leech suggests that five types of politeness scales can be used to determine the politeness rating of an utterance, namely 1) cost-benefit scale, 2) optimality scale, 3) indirectness scale, 4) authority scale, and 5) social distance scale. By utilizing the five types of politeness scales, this study aims to show and describe the form of speech in the speech of Prophet Musa and Pharaoh and to show and describe the form of politeness in Prophet Musa's language towards Pharaoh. This form of politeness can be seen in the story of Prophet Musa in QS. As-Syu'arāa [26:16], QS. As-Syu'arāa [26:24], QS. As-Syu'arāa [26:26], QS. As-Syu'arāa [26:28], QS. Ṭāha [20:47], QS. Ṭāha [20:47-48], QS. Ṭāha [20:50], QS. Ṭāha [20:52], QS. Ṭāha [20:53-55].
