Pir Sultan Abdal, one of the significant milestone of the Alevi-Bektashi faith, is a folk poet who is known to have lived in the 16th century. Pir Sultan Abdal, who permanently showed his side to support of the folk and did not remain irrelevant to social issues, profoundly impressed the folk poets, minstrels and bards who came after him. One of the poets who is impressed by Pir Sultan Abdal is Feyzullah Çınar. In this research, the maqamic analysis of the performance of Feyzullah, who started playing baglama at an early age and who has a significant place in Çamşıhı precinct, where the poet tradition is hestic, has been performed. Here it is aimed to musically examine the work of Pir Sultan Abdal, called “Bu Yıl Bu Dağların Karı Erimez” that was written in eleven syllable meter, through the melodic nuclei model. It was composed in the Uşşak makam with the 5/8 rhythm and was brought to the THM Repertoire of TRT Music Department Broadcasts with the help of Nida Tüfekçi in 1977. The art work that is in TRT Music Department Publications THM Repertoire, dated 1977 and numbered 1562, and the performance played and sung by Feyzullah Çınar on TRT in 1978, show significant differences. For this reason, the performance of the TRT art work was re-transcribed and searched in detail. The research was carried out with the survey model, which is one of the descriptive search methods. As a consequence of the search, in this artwork, which was carefully transcribed in TRT performance, lyrics by Pir Sultan Abdal and composition by Feyzullah Çınar, Uşşak, Hüseyni and Huzi maqam melodic nuclei used in Traditional Turkish Music are typically used in maqam structure, which may be considered among the fundamental component of the Anatolian homeland.
