To Study Determinants Of Firms’ Investment Into Industrial Zones And Indutrial Clusters In Tien Giang Province

Abstract

This research aims to study the determinants of firm’s investment in industrial zones and industrial clusters in Tien Giang province. Using the quantitative method with the Binary Logistic regression model and with a sample of 191 investment projects licensed by the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province and Tien Giang Industrial Zones Authority in the period of 2006 to 2013, the researchers find out that there are five factors positively influencing firm’s investment in the industrial zones and industrial clusters in Tien Giang province. They are investment areas, land area, types of investment project ownership, investor status (investor as an organization) and foreign labour ratio
