General culture is like a tree with many branches. Customs, traditions, beliefs and opinions, type of clothing, types of food and various aspects of life are the leafy branches of this tree. Considering the Islamic nature of the society (in its general sense), it is important and directional to recognize and measure the influential cultural beliefs in the society, with the criterion of the most important religious source, namely the Holy Qur'an; Because knowing these beliefs can help in strengthening the cultural foundation of the society as well as the pathology of the religious society. In this article, we have extracted a number of famous sayings from popular beliefs that are current in our culture in the form of proverbs or famous irony, and after categorizing them, we have compared them with verses from the Qur'an in a descriptive-analytical way. Verses in which, directly or indirectly, you can get information about the topics raised. The result of the research on this issue shows that most of these beliefs are compatible with the teachings of the Quran, religious beliefs and life experience. Some of them, which are deeply rooted in people's speech and actions, are not compatible with religious principles, but the perception of the society and theological beliefs of the past, as well as their existence in the words of poets, have made them last. Such research can be effective in the cultural refinement of false beliefs in the society.
