The problems of murders investigation and the peculiarities of good faith errors occurring in forming of witness testimonies have been analyzed in the article. The source of such errors appearance in the testimonies of questioned people who witnessed murders has been studied. The peculiarities of perception of objects, animals, people, time, sequence of events, objects movements, their speed, acceleration, direction have been researched
