The development of a retractable cover was carried out by experimental research on organic geometry in architecture. In this case, to create a flexible and adaptable system in nature. Street theater by architect Emilio Pérez Piñero was used as a direct reference, which is also based on the principle of a folding structure, but the prototype of this proposal improves the coupling efficiency, as this research focuses on optimizing fixation members against vent generating a unified and more articulated node that helps to absorb the pressure and wind suctions on both sides of the structure, giving to it greater structural stability and balance to the system. They were developed with A36 steel and for the mantle, which is housed at the bottom of the “Velaria” deck, the use of a Serge Fluitop-Ferrari-T2-1002 membrane was proposed, with an RK (daN/5cm) 420/420 resistance, and a (t/m) 50/50 elasticity module.
