Prototype design of a tensioned retractable roof

Abstract

The development of a retractable cover was carried out by experimental research on organic geometry in architecture. In this case, to create a flexible and adaptable system in nature. They were developed with A36 steel and for the mantle, which is housed at the bottom of the “Velaria” deck, the use of a Serge Fluitop-Ferrari-T2-1002 membrane was proposed, with an RK (daN/5cm) 420/420 resistance, and a (t/m) 50/50 elasticity module.
