SOCIAL POLICY AND WELFARE STATE IN GERMANY IN THE 20TH CENTURY: CONTINUITY, RUPTURES, DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The paper studies the social policy and the organization of social affairs in Germany in the 20th century. The author traces the dependence of social policy on different political modes – democratic, nazi, communist. The continuation and ruptures in the social policy during formation of the social state in Germany are allocated.
