PROBIÓTICO E ANTIBIÓTICO COMO PROMOTORES DE CRESCIMENTO PARA FRANGOS DE CORTE
Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of supplementation with probiotic and antibiotic in the nutrition of broiler chickens on performance and carcass and cuts yield. 150 birds were distributed in a completely randomized design with three treatments (T1 = without antibiotic / without probiotic, T2 = without antibiotic/with probiotic and T3 = with antibiotic/ without probiotic) with five replications. Performance was measured by food intake, weight gain, feed efficiency, viability and productive efficiency index. Carcass yield and breast cuts, thighs, drumsticks and wings were calculated in relation to body weight. Carcass yield and breast cuts, thighs, drumsticks and wings were calculated in relation to body weight. No significant effects of probiotic and antibiotic growth promoter in relation to control over the parameters in the experimental conditions of this research. The probiotic and antibiotic growth promoter were equivalent, but they were not advantageous in relation to the control group.
