The Regional Distribution of Labor in the South Brazil

Abstract

This paper analyses the distribution of formal jobs in the South area of Brazil and in its 23 regions. It looked for identifying which are the regions where the offering dynamic of formal job accompanied the dynamics of the South area. Regarding the 23 regions that make up the South area, 11 showed the same behavior or very close to the identified for the area as a whole.
