La géographie parmi les sciences du travail : la centralité du travail en perspectives

Abstract

This proposal aims to enhance the dialogue between geography and labour sciences, which is currently underdeveloped. The authors acknowledge the significance of work, as emphasised by occupational psychology and medicine in France. However, they also note that the spatial dimension of work has not yet been fully explored by these disciplines. The authors suggest that geography, as a discipline, can contribute to the labour sciences, and propose methodological ways to address this issue. The authors introduce a test of this prospect for university geography curriculum.
