Social movements, community feminism and their contributions to building of democracy in Colombia

Abstract

This article seeks to explore the concept of social movements and it´s impact on societies and on western political models. At the same time the construction of feminist movements from the French Revolution will be addressed. This is made with the objective of show the importance of them approaches theoretical feminist and their practices and make of Colombian a country more just and in peace. Include the contributions of feminism along with the peace processes between the colombian government and the las FARC is to build a solid democracy.
