Estereotipos na fraseoloxía: o caso galego-portugués

Abstract

Este artigo trata a cuestión dos estereotipos nacionais presentes nas unidades fraseolóxicas galegas e portuguesas. Analízanse aquí os refráns e as locucións galegas que fagan referencia a Portugal, ós portugueses e ás súas características nacionais e, por outro lado, as unidades fraseolóxicas portuguesas que mencionen os galegos. Preténdese describilas, ver en qué medida espellan relacións de poder e cal é a crise actual deste conxunto fraseolóxico. // This paper deals with national stereotypes in Galician and Portuguese phraseological units. Galician proverbs and phrases that refer to Portugal, the Portuguese people and their national character are analysed. On the other hand, Portuguese phraseological units that mention the Galicians are also studied. It intends to describe this group of idioms, to check to what extent it reflects power relationships and its current crisis.
