Research on the Co-Occurrence Mapping and Thematic Evolution of Chinese Government’s Work in Safety Production
Abstract
This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the evolution and relevance of the Chinese government’s work on safety production, offering practical guidance for related research. The study collected relevant text data of government work on safety production from 2015 to 2023. The TF-IDF algorithm and LDA theme model were integrated to analyze the distribution of keywords and themes of government work; the co-occurrence analysis method was adopted to calculate the Jaccard coefficient between keywords, and construct word co-occurrence network mapping of government work; furthermore, correspondence analysis was utilized to mine the correlation and temporal order characteristics of the government’s work themes. The results demonstrate that: the co-occurrence coefficient between the keywords of government work exhibits a strong co-occurrence structure, at the lowest level of confusion, the best clustering of government work themes clusters into 6 classes; the “Risk prevention”, “ Policy guidelines ”, “Rescue work ” 3 themes have significant correlation; between 2015 and 2023, the frequency of production accidents decreased from 98.56% to 61.44%, plummeted in 2018, and the frequency of natural disasters increased from 55.17% to 74.61% over the same period; following the establishment of the Ministry of Emergency Management in 2018, the frequency of safety accidents as a whole shows a decreasing trend, and Supervision and prevention are gradually becoming a priority for the Government’s work, the government’s work performance is remarkable.
