Pessoa, o feiticeiro-mestre? Uma leitura de O Aprendiz de Feiticeiro, de Carlos de Oliveira

Abstract

O Aprendiz de Feiticeiro, by Carlos de Oliveira (1921-1981), first published in 1971, brings together a collection of texts of various natures: comments on books and writers, metaliterary or metapoetic reflections, sketches of narratives or other literary projects, and fragments of interviews given or imagined, originally produced over different decades and articulated for this publication after alterations and recompositions. From the creative workshop that is this hybrid work, we aim to demonstrate certain Pessoan resonances, considering the interplay between reading and writing, testimony and pretense, tradition and revolution.
