The mission statement of special education is to prepare and expose mentally re tarded/ challenged students to the continuous development of communication in order for them to interact socially. The impact, as much as the social order of the individual, have ample results in the integral formation of these students. In the present art icle, it is intended to address complex problems of communication in social interaction, producing systematic definitions of communication given by different authors, likewise the ability to interact socially, so that they can develop t he mentally challeng ed students.
