L’ONU face aux migrants : une mission inaboutie ?

Abstract

In the context of crisis of migrants and refugees welcoming, the UN passed in 2018 an ambitious « Global Compact for Migrations », in order to manage better the migrants flux. A century before, in 1919, the ILO newly created preoccupated itself already about the well-being and the situation, the treatment of migrants. The UN achieved a lot for migrants. But some states think that this question is their own business, they want to preserve their sovereignty, they do not want the UN to interfere in their territoriy on this question.
