The influence of the technology of keeping sows on their productive and maternal qualities

Abstract

The article discusses the issues of productivity of sows depending on the technology of their maintenance and breeding methods. It was found that the technology of cultivation and breeding methods do not affect the multiplicity of sows, but have an effect on the individual weight of piglets at 21 and 35 days, as well as the weight of the nest at weaning. According to the complex indicator of reproductive qualities (KPVC), the best indicators are characterized by sows that are kept with a single-phase technology using non-replaceable litter.
