Dokumenty dotyczące Związku Walki Zbrojnej – Armii Krajowej Obwód Radzyń Podlaski w zbiorach Zygmunta Mańkowskiego i Ireneusza Cabana

Abstract

The article concerns the collection of documents of the Radzyń Podlaski District of the Home Army, which are part of a larger collection of archives of Zygmunt Mańkowski and Ireneusz Caban. Autor of the article discusses the documentation from this collection, analyzing the time of its creation and the method of its creation. The collected archival materials were mostly created by evoking accounts from participants of historical events - Home Army soldiers and their families. The collection is dominated by correspondence of the former owners of the collection with witnesses of historical events. The overwhelming majority of the content of the letters are accounts, memoirs, notes, comments, etc. This file material has not been used in scientific research so far. Artykuł dotyczy kolekcji dokumentów obwodu Armii Krajowej Radzyń Podlaski, stanowiących część większego zbioru archiwaliów Zygmunta Mańkowskiego i Ireneusza Cabana. Autor artykułu omawia dokumentację z tego zbioru, analizując czas jej powstania oraz „metodę” powstawania. Zgromadzone materiały archiwalne powstały w przeważającej większości przez wywołanie relacji „od uczestników” wydarzeń historycznych – żołnierzy Armii Krajowej i ich rodzin. W zbiorze przeważa korespondencja dawnych właścicieli kolekcji ze świadkami wydarzeń historycznych. W przeważającej większości treść listów stanowią relacje, wspomnienia, fragmenty pamiętników, notatki, uwagi, itp. Omawiany materiał aktowy nie był jak dotychczas wykorzystywany w badaniach naukowych.
