In this study, it is aimed to understand the situations where Turkish businesses are influenced by the human resources practices of foreign businesses with which they interact within the scope of international business activities, and how this influence occurs in which practices and in what ways. For this purpose, a research based on the qualitative research design and conducted with the multiple case analysis method was carried out with 10 Turkish businesses that have interaction with foreign businesses. According to the results of the analysis, it has been observed that the human resources practices of Turkish businesses are shaped by the level of dependency relationship with the foreign business. In other words, different forms of influence have been identified based on varying levels of dependency, such as coercive and cognitive in high dependency relationships, imitation learning, recommendation and expectation in medium dependency relationships, and lack of trust, recommendation and expectation in low dependency relationships. Finally, it has been determined that human resources practices differ depending on the forms of influence such as coercive, cognitive, imitation learning, recommendation-expectation, and lack of trust.
