According to characteristics of high temperature and lean oxygen within combustion process of coalfield fire area, features and shortages of existing testing device for characteristic parameters of coal spontaneous combustion, a testing device for characteristic parameters of high temperature oxidation combustion of coalfield fire area was developed. The experiments of temperature control performance of the device and combustion characteristics of coalfield fire area were carried out. The results show that temperature control performance of the device is good, which can be used to test combustion characteristic parameters of coalfield fire combustion simulated with different heating rates or heating ways under different oxygen concentration.
